BRAVE CF 100: Hamza Kooheji Challenges Borislav Nikolić For Bantamweight Title

BRAVE Combat Federation, the world’s fastest-growing mixed martial arts organization, has announced that reigning Bantamweight World Champion Borislav Nikolić of Serbia will defend his title against No. 2-ranked contender and Bahraini icon Hamza Kooheji in the main event of BRAVE CF 100 on Friday, Nov. 7, at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain.

“This is a very special moment for me,” Nikolić said. “To defend my world title at such a historic milestone for BRAVE CF is an honor. I know I’m going into enemy territory to face a national hero, but that only motivates me more.”

Kooheji, one of BRAVE CF’s original stars, called the opportunity a dream come true. “To now headline BRAVE 100 with a shot at the world title in front of my people makes it even more special,” he said. “This is my time.”

Nikolić, 32, enters the bout riding a three-fight win streak and a 93-percent finishing rate. He captured the title at BRAVE CF 96 in June, submitting Nicholas Hwende in the first round with a ninja choke.

For Kooheji, the fight represents redemption. A pioneer of BRAVE CF, the Bahraini standout has competed 11 times for the promotion, winning nine bouts. He previously fought for the world title in 2022 but fell short.

As BRAVE CF marks its 100th event, the stage is set for a historic showdown - a world champion defending his crown against the face of Bahraini MMA, with national pride and legacy on the line.
