APFC India 1 Results: Indian MMA Fighter Niranjan Dominates Dagestani Opponent

Anthony Pettis Fighting Championship (APFC) successfully hosted APFC India 1 at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium Park in Bengaluru. The event featured 13 MMA bouts inside the cage and was broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass, with the preliminary card streamed on YouTube.

In the main event, Indian bantamweight Singh Niranjan delivered a dominant performance against Dagestani fighter Murad Kurbanov. Niranjan secured a KO/TKO via ground-and-pound at 2:32 of Round 1, improving his professional record to 3-1.

The co-main event saw India’s Mohammad Mahboob Khan remain undefeated as he defeated Bishal Sahu by unanimous decision after three competitive rounds in the flyweight division.

The main card featured several impressive finishes, including submission wins by Luka Pisarić, Sumit Bhyan, Neitso Angami, and Kishor Begur Kumar. Rayyan Butt also secured a late TKO victory in the lightweight division.

The preliminary card highlighted emerging Indian talent, with notable stoppage wins from Tanu Jha and Dipanjali Mishra, while several amateur bouts went the distance, showcasing strong technical development.

APFC India 1 marked a successful debut for the promotion in India, further strengthening the country’s growing MMA ecosystem.
