Angela Lee vs. Xiong Jing Nan to headline ONE on Prime Video 2

The trilogy bout between Angela Lee and Xiong Jing Nan is set to headline ONE on Prime Video 2 on September 30, 2022. The announcement was made by ONE Championship last day and the fight will happen at Strawweight. The ONE Strawweight title of Jing Nan will be on the line as well.

The history between Angela Lee and Xiong Jing Nan

Angela Lee and Xiong Jing Nan have fought two times in ONE Championship so far. The two first met back in March 2019 at ONE: NEW ERA at Strawweight. It was Xiong Jing Nan that came out on top in the fight as she knocked out Lee in the fifth round to retain the belt.

A few months later, in October 2019, Jing Nan went down to Atomweight and challenged Lee for the ONE Atomweight title. This time around, it was Lee that came out on top. Lee submitted Jing Nan in the fifth round with just 12 seconds remaining in the fight.

Both the fighters have been unstoppable in their respective division for a long time now. Lee is now on a two-fight winning streak and got a win over Stamp Fairtex in her last fight. Jing Nan, on the other hand, is on a three-fight winning streak after her loss to Lee.

The Chinese MMA star secured wins over Tiffany Teo, Michelle Nicolini and Ayaka Miura in her last three fights and is 17-2 in her professional MMA career right now.
