Anatoly Malykhin wants three or four belts in ONE Championship

This past Friday, December 2, at Manila, Philippines' Mall of Asia Arena, Anatoly Malykhin gave one of the year's most magnificent performances.

In the main event of ONE on Prime Video 5, the ONE Interim Heavyweight World Champion knocked out former two-division champion Reinier de Ridder to win the ONE Light Heavyweight World Title, joining a select group of competitors who have achieved the coveted double-champ title.

Few fans believed that "Sladkiy" would be able to dominate and finish De Ridder with hammerfists in less than five minutes.

Even the CEO and Chairman of ONE, Chatri Sityodtong, was so impressed that he gave the Russian behemoth a performance bonus of $100,000, which is double the amount he usually gives out.

Before the fight, Malykhin and De Ridder had never lost. Nobody had ever been able to resist "The Dutch Knight's" takedowns and jiu-jitsu prowess until that point.

De Ridder entered the Circle versus the Russian with a perfect 16-0 record thanks to his unbreakable arsenal. Malykhin, however, defeated the Dutchman, giving him his first loss while raising his own record to 12-0.

And now, Malykhin wants all the titles in the promotion. Anatoly Malykhin has acknowledged that he may move up one division after making a successful light heavyweight debut in ONE.

"Sladkiy" believes he can reach middleweight, where Reinier de Ridder also holds the belt, and take it.

“De Ridder said that he dreamed of having three belts. His dream didn’t happen, so I’m here to make my dream happen and have three or four belts. As I said earlier, I’m coming for all the belts, so everybody should watch out and be careful!,” he said.
