UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko is open to a Flyweight title fight with Alexa Grasso. Shevchenko revealed the same during her recent interview with The Schmo and noted that if Manon Fiorot is not ready, she is ready to fight Alexa Grasso.
“After the [last] Alexa Grasso fight, I actually was thinking yes, she kind of like very straight challenger for the title fight. And if it’s not Manon Fiorot, I think it’s Alexa. Yeah, it all depends on who is ready the most.” Valentina Shevchenko said in the interview.
Shevchenko has been unstoppable in the UFC Flyweight division and is coming off a victory against Taila Santos.

As for Grasso, she is currently ranked fifth in the UFC Flyweight rankings. Though Manon Fiorot is ranked higher, if Fiorot decides to keep her showdown with Shevchenko aside, the doors could open for Grasso.
In the UFC for less than two years, Manon Fiorot has already established a reputation for herself. She currently holds the top spot in the women's flyweight division.
The product of France has been in excellent shape ever since joining the UFC from UAE Warriors. She won five fights in a row to raise her overall record in the sport to 10 wins, 1 defeat (which occurred in her MMA debut).
Although there is currently no information on the 34-year-upcoming old's championship defence, Fiorot beat veteran Katlyn Chookagian by decision her most recent fight at UFC 280, earning her a legitimate crack at Valentina Shevchenko.

Shevchenko also ruled out a possible rematch with Taila Santos and noted that Taila needs to earn a rematch.
