The much-awaited trilogy bout between Vitaly Bigdash and Aung La N Sang will happen this weekend at ONE: Full Circle. The rivalry between the two currently stands at 1-1 and the third match is expected to settle the scores.
Aung La will be coming into the fight on the back of a victory against Leandro Ataides and has made it clear that he wants to get the Middleweight title back. Bigdash, on the other hand, has the opportunity not only to derail the Burmese Python but also push his case for a title shot if he wins.
Speaking to ONE Championship last day, Bigdash detailed that the plan is to secure a spectacular finish over the Myanmar superstar.
“All fighters have their weaknesses. I’m not going to tell you what holes in his game I’ve noticed. I will try and work according to my game plan so I can fight in a manner that is comfortable for me, in a manner that will allow me to finish him in a spectacular fashion,” Bigdash said.

He further went on to add that Aung La lying defeated on the canvas is what he has projected.
“I don’t know exactly how this fight will go. Fighting is an unpredictable business, but in my head I want it to end up like this: He’s lying defeated on the canvas, and I’m standing over him,” he added.
Bigdash also added that he know Aung La very well considering that they fought twice already.
“I know my opponent very well. We met twice in the past, and I think I won both fights – the first fight quite confidently. I know him better now, and I’ve been training especially for him. But he also knows me well by now. There we are even. However, I have a clear advantage. My strong character and mental strength,” he added.
