If you missed it, here are the official results, post-fight bonuses and fighter quotes.
Performances of the Night:
Robert Whittaker: “Honestly, I feel over the world. I guess that was one of the most technical fights I’ve ever had, to be able to share the Octagon with him was a privilege. I want to go home to my babies and my wife. Other than that, I want to get back to the gym, I want to get back there and help them, they helped me, one team, one dream. I would love to fight for a title, I would love that. I’m world championship level, that’s who I am, I’m a world champion, with or without the belt, and I would love to fight for that."
Shogun Rua: "I am the man most happy in the world today! Every time I fight Rogerio he’s super tough, I know it’s going to be a war, he’s a legend, a guy I respect a lot. I knew this was a very important step for my career, I knew how motivated he was for this fight and what it meant and it was very important to me to get one more step in the career of my accomplishments and leave this mark for my legacy."
Fabricio Werdum: “No matter how good your body is trained, if your mind is not in the right place it won’t work, your body won’t answer. That’s why I’m so happy. I was looking for the victory for this, my last UFC fight. I’m not sure what I’m going to do, where I’ll go, I don’t know, I just want to enjoy this moment and thank everyone that always supported me.”
Carla Esparza: “I’ve had that title and I felt like I’ve been put down and now I feel like I’ve built my way back up and I’m ready to be in those talks, I’m ready for that title fight again.”
Paul Craig: “To get a win, it’s always amazing, but to do it on this island is amazing, the whole set up has been perfect and perfectly designed for fights. The whole week has been special, not even the week, but the whole four weeks the team have been here, everything has been superb and everything has been well run. I’m looking to get that next fight as soon as I possibly can.”
Alex Oliveira: “I am a different fighter, I changed a lot of on my training camp. I’m out of the top 15, but I want to come back and fight against the best. This sport changed my life; this is the most important thing for me.”
Khamzat Chimaev: "I like this, I want to do more. It was too easy for me, today I’m too fast, I want to be there more. How many are in the welterweight division? Everybody in my division, I’m going to smash them."
