UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez 2 ? Figueiredo wins Flyweight title

Deiveson Figueiredo is the new UFC Flyweight Champion. The Brazilian captured the title after stopping veteran Joseph Benavidez in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez 2 via first-round submission.

Figueiredo, who had earlier defeated Benavidez when they last met, had a dominant performance while the fight lasted. He locked in the rear-naked choke towards the end of the round to claim victory and got his hands on the UFC gold.

In the co-main event, Jack Hermansson made quick work of Kelvin Gastelum and went home with a first-round submission win via heel hook. Rafael Fiziev had a decision win over Marc Diakiese when Ariane Lipski got a first-round submission win via kneebar against Luana Carolina.

Askar Askarov also picked up a decision victory on the main card. Below are the complete results from the event.
