TFC 5 Full Results: Rockie Bactol submits Amarasinghe in the main event

Thailand Fighting Championship rolled out TFC 5 last day from the Rawai Boxing Stadium in Phuket. The event was headlined by an exciting Philippines vs. Sri Lanka showdown featuring former ONE Championship fighter Rockie Bactol and Sri Lanka’s Malinda Amarasinghe.

The experience of Bactol is what proved to be the difference in the main event as the Filipino fighter managed to submit Amarasinghe in the first round itself via a rear-naked choke. Bactol came into the fight with a lot of momentum on his resume and continued the good run with the main event victory.

In the co-main event, JJ Jones and Colton Kielbasa went the complete distance in their fight after which the judges ruled in favor of JJ Jones via a split decision. Phetzilla and Mosa Afoa also picked up wins in their respective fights. Mosa secured a first-round knockout in the fight against Mai KhaoLak when Phetzilla submitted Ajmal Yakoob in the second round.
