TFC 5: Rockie Bactol vs. Malinda Amarashinge set to headline the event

Thailand Fighting Championship is all set to return. The promotion will be associating with South East Asia Fighting Championship for TFC 5 which will be held on January 8, 2022, in Bangkok, Thailand.

The main event of the show will see former ONE Championship fighter Rockie Bactol going up against one of the top MMA prospects from Sri Lanka, Malinda Amarashinge.

Hailing from the Philippines, Bactol is riding high on a two-fight winning streak and will be looking to continue the same when he steps into the main event of TFC 5. Fighting out of Fight Soul, Malinda, on the other hand, has the opportunity to produce a huge upset and fly the Sri Lankan flag high in the Asian MMA circuit.

Elsewhere, A striker vs. Grappler showdown between Samuel Alexander and Niko Chan will also be on the card along with Ajmal Yakoob vs. Simon in a clash of two high-level strikers.
