Surya Sagar of India enters WBC Muay-Thai World Rankings for Super Lightweight

The Inaugural WBC India Muay-Thai Champion Surya Sagar has entered the WBC Muay-Thai World Rankings for Super Lightweight. Surya, who won the WBC India Muay-Thai Super Lightweight Title recently at Fraggingmonk Fight Night 2, is currently placed at 19^th in the World Rankings.

The ranking is currently topped by Neunglanlek Jitmuangnon of Thailand when Kongklai AnnyMuayThai is in the second position. Petchmahachon Jitmuangnon is in the third when Sean Clancy and Rungkit Bor Rungrot are in fourth and fifth position respectively. The WBC Muay-Thai Super Lightweight title is currently vacant the moment as well.

Surya won the title by stopping Basavesh in the first round at Fraggingmonk Fight Night 2 on September 4, 2021, in Bangalore and went on to note that he is eager to make his title defense soon.
