Fraggingmonk Promotions rolled out Fraggingmonk Fight Night 2 today from Bangalore and the event featured the much-awaited WBC Muay-Thai India Title fight and the WKN India Title Fights.
In the main event, Surya Sagar and Basavesh locked horns for the WBC Muay-Thai India Super Lightweight Title. Surya landed a huge knockdown in the start and was pushing Basavesh. He went on to get a quick finish in the first round itself to capture the WBC Muay-Thai India Super Lightweight Title.
In the co-main event, Kishor Gowda stopped Rakesh via a spinning kick to win the WKN India Bantamweight Title. Kishor had recently won Gold Medal for India at the GAMMA Asian MMA Championships as well making it a memorable run for the youngster.
Sukeerth Kulal took home the WKN India Light Heavyweight Title with a decision win over Ashwin Naidu. Edukondal Rao produced an exciting performance through which he secured a stoppage win over Samiran Gogoi to win the WKN India Lightweight title.
Prateek captured the WKN India Featherweight Title with a decision win over Sunil Raj after five rounds when Mintu Barman made quick work of Prathap Rana to win the WKN India Welterweight Title via a first-round TKO.
Athul Hotker was crowned the WKN India Middleweight champion in the opening bout of the main card. Athul went up against his teammate Rajeev MP and in the second round, the fight was called off after Rajeev was not able to continue after an accidental low blow.
The fight opened with the preliminary catchweight kickboxing bout between Lleyton Marc Crasta and Vinod Kumar. Lleyton and Vinod went the complete distance in what proved to be an interesting outing. The fight was ruled in favor of Lleyton via a split decision. You can see the complete results from the event below.
