Gujarat played host to Seven Fighting Championship last day and the event saw the team from Dojo MMA and Fitness Vadodara picking up the maximum number of gold medals.
Promoted by Lara’s Promotion at the Sidhu Bhavan Hall in Ahmedabad, the event was hosted by Raj Meheriya and featured fighters from all across the country. Fighters from Combat Clan Kolkata, Monster Team Maharashtra, The Dojo MMA and Fitness among others competed at the event which had Yezdi as the title sponsor.
The team from Dojo Vadodara, which trains under Indian MMA fighter Ishika Thite, picked up six gold medals out of a possible 8. The team suffered one loss and one no contest in their remaining two fights.

Vedant Rabari produced a quick submission win for the team as he was able to make his opponent tap out just 22 seconds into the fight. Jignesh Solanki had a similar first-round finish when Himanshu Jadhav knocked out his opponent in 15 seconds.
Divyesh also produced a knockout in the second round of his fight. The two other wins for the team came thanks to Aryan Trivedi and Kamiya Dalal who won via Decision and a first-round TKO respectively. Robbie Christie had to settle for a no-contest in his fight.

The event was sanctioned by the MMA Federation of Gujarat which is affiliated with the All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation (AIMMAF) affiliated with the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA).
