The fight between Seo Hee Ham and Denice Zamboanga had created a string of headlines all over the world. The fight which took place at ONE Championship’s all-women card ONE: Empower, was ruled in favor of Seo Hee Ham via a decision initially but this result was reviewed later by ONE Championship due to a plethora of reasons.

After the review, however, the win of Seo Hee Ham was upheld and she will now be competing in the ONE Championship Atomweight Grand Prix Semi-Finals against Stamp Fairtex. Speaking about the controversy regarding the result to Sogo Kaku, Seo Hee Ham said that she clearly won the fight.

“To be honest, I was speechless after the fight. To me it was a sure win, I spent a lot of time studying their judging criteria before since I knew it was different. My whole plan was based on their criteria. When people were saying it was close, I didn’t know how to respond, because understanding their criteria, I think I clearly won. If it was under unified criteria, I can see that I lost. But I knew what One’s criteria is, so my strategy was based on that,” she said.

When asked about facing Stamp Fairtex in the semi-finals of the tournament, the following is what Seo Hee Ham had to say.

“I don’t really care about the opponent. I think I will end up fighting all of the girls in the tournament when the time comes, so whether it’s next month or in the future, it doesn’t matter, just give me anyone. If we compete, it is going to be a really exciting fight for the fans, it’s gonna be a war, so I think we will have fun in there,” she added.
