Angela Lee reacts to the result of Denice Zamboanga vs. Seo Hee Ham

The ONE Atomweight Grand Prix kicked off last day at ONE: Empower and one of the most interesting fights in the quarter-finals bracket was the showdown between Denice Zamboanga and Seo Hee Ham.

The fight, which went the complete distance, was awarded to Seo Hee Ham via a split decision and it had raised a debate on whether the decision was right. Reigning ONE Atomweight Champion Angela Lee has reacted to the result as well and noted the following through her Instagram account.

“This is why it's important to always finish your opponent and never leave it in the hands of the judges... That's how I look at it!,” she noted while posting a clip from the Denice vs. Seo Hee Ham Match.

Angela also went on to congratulate the semi-finalists of ONE Atomweight Grand Prix and praised them for their performance.

“Congratulations to the ladies moving on to the semifinals. All the women put on an epic show last night!!,” she added.

Itsuki Hirata, Ritu Phogat, and Stamp Fairtex sailed through to the semi-finals of the Grand Prix with wins in their respective fights and the semi-final matchups will be decided based on fan voting which is currently live on the official website of ONE Championship.
