Semi-Final matchups revealed for the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix

The semi-final matchups for the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix have been revealed. The announcement was made by ONE Championship during the ONE: Revolution broadcast.

Update: Stamp Fairtex will now be facing Julie Mezabarba instead of Seo Hee Ham as Seo Hee Ham is out of the tournament due to an injury. 

Indian MMA star Ritu Phogat will be going up against Itsuki Hirata in the semi-finals when Stamp Fairtex will be fighting Julie Mezabarba.

Ritu progressed into the semi-finals of the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix with a win over the experienced Meng Bo. Ritu managed to dominate Meng in a three-round contest and had secured a unanimous decision victory to book her place in the Semi-finals.

Itsuki Hirata, meanwhile, had a comfortable decision win over Alyse Anderson in the quarter-finals.

Stamp Fairtex progressed into the Semi-Finals of the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix with a win over Alyona Rassohyna when Seo Hee Ham had a controversial win over Denice Zamboanga. The match between Denice and Seo Hee Ham was initially ruled in favor of Seo Hee Ham via decision but the result was put under review later on. However, after the review from the ONE Competition team, the result was upheld in favor of Seo Hee Ham.

The Semi-Final matches will happen at ONE: NEXTGEN on October 29, 2021.

• Ritu Phogat vs. Itsuki Hirata
• Julie Mezabarba vs. Stamp Fairtex
