Soul of Warriors 2: Here are the fights announced so far for the event
11 October 2020Soul of Warriors is set to return in December with SOW 2 in Kolkata. As we earlier reported, the showdown between Kushal Vyas and Rohit Pundeer will be serving as the main event for the show and now, SOW has released details of more fights.
The co-main event will see the much-awaited rematch between Priya Saini and Monika Ghag. Earlier, Priya and Monika had fought in Indore in a fight that Priya won via stoppage. However, there were many people who thought that it was an early stoppage which in turn, has resulted in the rematch.
The card will also see a huge showdown between Suraj Bahadur and Hemant Wadekar. Both fighters come into the fight with plenty of experience on the resume and are known for their knockout prowess. It is bound to be an exciting showdown that might not go the distance considering the power that these two have.
Arshiyan Memon and Ritika Poojary who fought at Thailand Fighting Championship representing India earlier this year will be going up against Sarabjit Singh and Tejasvini Nandadkar respectively. Arshiyan will be looking to continue his winning run against Sarabjit when Ritika would be looking to bounce back against Tejasvini who comes in with a good amount of experience in the Amateur scene.
Ishan Das, who headlined the SOW 1 event against Bonjovi will be fighting Shivang Guleria on the main card when Mandeep Prajapati will lock horns with Akib Jaun as well. Vishal Sahu vs. Pavan Prasad will also be on the card.
Indian Wushu star Banu Surya Pratap Singh is also expected to be on the card but the official announcement is yet to be made by the promotion regarding his opponent. Below is the fight card announced so far.
