Full Fight Video: Roshan Mainam vs. Aziz Calim from ONE: Fists of Fury III

Indian MMA star Roshan Mainam returned to action last day at ONE: Fists of Fury III. Roshan went up against Indonesian Karate champion Aziz Calim at the event and managed to secure a first-round submission victory to remain undefeated in ONE Championship.

ONE Championship has released the complete video of the fight and you can watch it below.

With the win, Roshan improved his record to 6-2 and improved his ONE Championship record to 3-0. Prior to his outing against Aziz, Roshan had defeated Liu Peng Shuai via a second-round submission and had defeated Khon Sichan of Cambodia before that in his ONE Championship debut in 2019.

Hailing from Manipur, Roshan has an extensive wrestling background and currently trains out of EVOLVE MMA in Singapore. Prior to the fight, he had revealed that he would be looking for a first-round finish and was planning to showcase his striking skills in the matchup.

In the main event, reigning ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Champion Regian “The Immortal” Eersel retained his World Title with a unanimous decision victory over #2-ranked contender Mustapha “Dynamite” Haida.

After a closely contested first round, action escalated in the second as Eersel put the pressure on Haida, using his height and reach advantage to stifle his opponent. Haida tried to keep up with Eersel’s furious pace and wanted to stay competitive throughout the third, but the defending World Champion proved to be the busier, more accurate striker.
