Indian MMA star Roshan Mainam picked up yet another win in ONE Championship as he outclassed Aziz Calim at ONE: Fists of Fury III in Singapore. Roshan got the victory in the first round itself as he predicted prior to the fight as he submitted Aziz to remain unbeaten in ONE Championship.

The fight between Roshan and Aziz was initially supposed to happen at ONE: Fists of Fury II but was later postponed to ONE: Fists of Fury III.

With the win, Roshan improved his record to 6-2 and improved his ONE Championship record to 3-0. Prior to his outing against Aziz, Roshan had defeated Liu Peng Shuai via a second-round submission and had defeated Khon Sichan of Cambodia before that in his ONE Championship debut in 2019.

Hailing from Manipur, Roshan has an extensive wrestling background and currently trains out of EVOLVE MMA in Singapore. Prior to the fight, he had revealed that he would be looking for a first-round finish and was planning to showcase his striking skills in the matchup.

With a three-fight winning streak now on his resume, it would be interesting to see what the next challenge will be for the Indian MMA Fighter.

Aziz, on the other hand, dropped to 5-5 in his career. He came into the fight with Roshan on the back of a loss against Ryuto Sawada and will now be looking to break his two-fight losing streak when he fights inside the ONE Circle again.
