De Ridder was recently seen training with Aung La N Sang at Sanford MMA and the two seemed to be bonding well after their two back-to-back fights in ONE Championship.

Aung La is currently coming off a loss against Vitaly Bigdash and had knocked out Leandro Ataides prior to that. However, the Burmese Python dropped both his Middleweight and Light Heavyweight titles to Reinier De Ridder as well.

Okami, on the other hand, had secured a win over Agilan Thani in his last fight. It came back in 2019 and Okami won the fight via a split decision. Prior to this, he suffered two back-to-back losses against James Nakashima and Kiamrian Abbasov.

The former UFC fighter is 36-14 in his professional MMA career and joined ONE Championship back in 2019.
