Leverage Fight Night: Raajus Dewan is excited to compete against Puyajit Likharu

Raajus Dewan will be stepping into the Leverage Fight Night IX tournament as a last-minute replacement for Chaitanya Gavali. Chaitanya had to pull out of the tournament due to a scheduling conflict and now, as a result, Raajus will be locking horns with Anshul Jubli in the opening bracket.

Training out of Warrior’s Cove MMA, Raajus has been engaged in the art for more than two years and is a blue belt as well. During his interview with Leverage Radio, Raajus noted that he is excited to compete against Punyajit Likharu at the event.

“I’m excited to compete against Punyajit. He has actually gone up against one of my former teammates, Mayank Kohli and he has beaten Mayank in Mixed Martial Arts and I would like to compete against him in Jiu-Jitsu and see how his skills fare against mine,” he said.

Raajus also added that he is looking forward to competing against the likes of Aman Gusain, Tarun Yadav, and Sadique Qaiyum.

Leverage Fight Night IX happens on December 18, 2020, in Delhi and will be streamed live on the Facebook page of Leverage Fight Night.
