WATCH: Rodtang vs. Williams named ONE Super Series Fight of the Year 2021

ONE Championship hosted a string of exciting Super Series Fights in the year 2021. The Muay-Thai and Kickboxing fans were in for a treat throughout the past 12 months and ONE Championship has now revealed the best ONE Super Series fight of 2021.

The pick for the best fight went to Muay Thai battle between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Danial Williams from ONE on TNT I which happened on 7 April.

Rodtang went into the fight on the back of an impressive 9-0 record in ONE Super Series and was also the ONE Flyweight Muay-Thai champion. Williams, on the other hand, was making his ONE Super Series debut at the event which aired live on prime-time television in the United States.

The catchweight bout started off on a positive note for Williams who managed to successfully push Rodtang to the backfoot. The Flyweight champion made a strong return in the second round and even managed to land a knockdown. The battle continued and went the distance surprisingly with Rodtang taking home the unanimous decision victory.

Despite the loss, Williams managed to win the hearts of the fans and with the Best Fight of the Year award on his resume, Williams clearly is someone to watch out for in the ONE Super Series Division.
