Nate Diaz feels that Francis Ngannou and Israel Adesanya are the only two worthy opponents that UFC has for him. Diaz made the comment recently in his interview with Ariel Helwani at the MMA Hour.
Diaz has not fought since his loss to Leon Edwards last year and has been calling for a fight for a long time now. When asked about the fights that he would entertain, he talked about Ngannou and Usman.
“The only worthy opponents they have [in the UFC] for me are Francis Ngannou or Israel Adesanya,” Diaz noted.

Both Ngannou and Adesanya have been dominant in their respective divisions. Ngannou is reigning on top of the UFC Heavyweight division and is currently out of action due to injury. Adesanya, on the other hand, recently added another successful title defense to his name at Middleweight. He is undefeated at Middleweight and is expected to fight Alex Pereira next for the title.
As for Nate Diaz, his last fight came back in June 2021 against Leon Edwards. Diaz suffered a decision loss in the fight and prior to this, he had also suffered a doctor’s stoppage loss to Jorge Masvidal in the BMF title match. Nate is 2-3 in his last five fights with his wins coming against Anthony Pettis and Conor McGregor.
