MFN 7: Abdul Azim Badakhshi vs. Marcelo Gaurilha headlines, Full Fight Card

Matrix Fight Night is set to return with another blockbuster fight card on 10 December 2021 at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad in the form of Matrix Fight Night 7.

The card will be headlined by the Featherweight contest between Afghan superstar Abdul Azim Badakhshi and Brazil’s Marcelo Guarilha.

Badakhshi comes into the fight with a professional record of 11-3 to his name and will be looking to extend his winning run. Marcelo, meanwhile, holds a professional record of 16-8 to his name and is riding high on a four-fight winning streak. This will also be the first main event in Matrix Fight Night featuring only international fighters.

In the co-main event, as we reported earlier, will see the trilogy showdown between Dhruv Chaudhary and Sumeet Khade. Sumeet and Dhruv are currently 1-1 in their rivalry so far and the scores are expected to be settled in Hyderabad.

The return of Srikant Sekhar will be another major attraction on the card. He will be going up against Zahoor Shah of Afghanistan in a Lightweight contest. Angad Bisht makes his return against promotional newcomer Chungreng Koren who hails from Manipur. The much-awaited Shyamanand vs. Abhishek Negi and Sahil Rana vs. Clinton D’Cruz fight will also happen on the card.

The lone female fight on the card will see Manipur’s Jojo Rajkumari going up against Gujarat’s Ishika Thite. The undercard, meanwhile, will see a string of new talent on show. You can see the complete fight card for Matrix Fight Night 7 below.
