Matrix Fight Night 7: Chungreng Koren vs. Angad Bisht announced for the event

A Bantamweight contest between Chungreng Koren and Angad Bisht has been announced for Matrix Fight Night 7. The announcement was made by Matrix Fight Night recently through their social media platforms.

Angad Bisht comes into the fight with a wealth of experience on his resume and is currently 5-3 in his professional MMA career. Training out of Mutant MMA Academy in Dehradun, Angad made his promotional debut back in Matrix Fight Night 2 with a win over Dhruv Chaudhary.

Angad then went up against Jacky Gahlot at Matrix Fight Night 3 and Sumeet Khade at Matrix Fight Night 5. Though both fights ended in a loss for Angad, he will be looking to bounce back strongly at Matrix Fight Night 7.

Chungreng, who trains out of RMX MMA Manipur, has an undefeated record so far in the domestic circuit. Hailing from a tribal family in Manipur, Chungreng had started his combat sports career through wrestling which he took up while working in the rice fields where he used to earn a living.  He will be having a huge opportunity at his hand when he fights Angad Bisht at Matrix Fight Night 7.

Where and when will Matrix Fight Night 7 happen?

Matrix Fight Night 7 will happen on December 10, 2021. The event will be held at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, Telangana, and will be having 10 fights on the card. The event will be sanctioned by the All India Mixed Martial Arts Association (AIMMAA) and GAMMAF.
