Lito Adiwang returns to ONE Championship Strawweight top five in latest rankings

Team Lakay star Lito Adiwang is back in the top five of ONE Championship Strawweight rankings. Lito managed to return to the rankings after the exit of Alex Silva, who had suffered a knockout loss this past weekend at ONE: Lights Out.

Silva, who was at the fifth spot in the rankings, suffered a loss to Adrian Mattheis of Indonesia and lost his place in the top five as a result. Adiwang, meanwhile, was on a strong run prior to his loss to Jarred Brooks and was 2-1 last year with his only loss coming to Brooks.

He was also in the top five rankings prior to this defeat and he now has the chance to climb further when he fights fellow Filipino fighter Jeremy Miado at ONE X on March 26, 2022.

Miado, meanwhile, will have the opportunity to crack the rankings himself when he fights the Team Lakay star. He is currently on a two-fight winning streak having outclassed Li Tao Miao in back-to-back fights. Both of Miado’s wins came via stoppages and the Filipino currently holds a professional MMA record of 10-4 to his name.

Adiwang, on the other hand, is 13-4 in his professional MMA career and came through the ONE Warrior Series ranks before making his mark in ONE Championship. He had outclassed Hexi Getu and Namiki Kawahara in his fights prior to the Brooks showdown.
