Leverage Fight Night IX: Shaun Loyal excited to compete against Shiba Banerjee

Shaun Loyal is all set to be in action at Leverage Fight Night IX. Training out of Warrior’s Cove MMA, Shaun is a blue belt under Ashwin Hoon and will be going up against Shiba Banerjee in the opening bracket of the tournament.

Ahead of the tournament, he sat down with Leverage Radio to open up about his game plan, prize money, and more.

“My game plan is to go out there, out-wrestle all my opponents, take them down, pin them down and wait until overtime,” he said.

When asked about competing with Shiba Banerjee, Shaun noted that he has been looking forward to competing against Shiba for quite some time now and added that he wants to grapple with Debojit Dasgupta with whom he is currently 1-1.

While concluding, Shaun was asked about what he would do with the prize money.

“I think PS5 is coming out this month. I’ll spend half the prize money on that and the other half on games” he said.
