Canelo should be afraid: Chimaev mocks Usman over new training video

Khamzat Chimaev is holding nothing back when talking about his potential future opponents. The undefeated UFC star recently posted a video of UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman on Twitter and added a sneaky caption to it.

“Canelo should be very afraid this is the guy to knock him out,” Khamzat wrote above the video of Usman where he is seen doing boxing drills.

Usman has been vocal about wanting to fight boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez and had promised that he will knockout the multiple-time world champion.

While anything concrete is yet to happen on the fight, there is a considerable amount of buzz in the MMA circle regarding Usman’s callout. Usman has been on an impressive run in the UFC Welterweight division and has almost cleaned out the division where he is reigning on top as the champion.

As for Khamzat, he is undefeated in his professional MMA career and UFC right now. He will be returning to action against Gilbert Burns on April 9, 2022, at Welterweight and will be looking to get himself closer to a fight with Kamaru Usman.
