Khamzat Chimaev is rising up the UFC ranks at a fast pace and the undefeated star will be locking horns with Gilbert Burns in a crucial clash next. Though he is currently fighting in the UFC Welterweight division, Khamzat has his eyes on the UFC Middleweight crown as well which is currently with Israel Adesanya.
Speaking at the MMA Hour, Khamzat said that it is easy to ‘smash’ Israel Adesanya if they fought. He also went on to say that he would squeeze the head off UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
“Izzy, I think it will be easier for me to smash that guy [than Kamaru Usman]. He has zero wrestling. The guy he fought last time, he’s not a wrestler — he took his back. If I take his back, brother, I’ll squeeze his head off. I’ll take his head off. Easy money for me,” Khamzat said (via MMA Fighting)
