Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov has been a dream of combat sports fans for quite a long time now. The fight was canceled on numerous occasions and now that Khabib is retired, the chances of the showdown happening inside an MMA cage are less.

However, we could see the two lock horns in a grappling match. Dominance MMA’s Ali Abdelaziz, who manages Khabib, has offered Tony Ferguson a grappling match with the former UFC champion.

"Tony Ferguson, what do you think about doing a grappling match with the Eagle in the future? I’m not picking on you, I’m serious,” Ali noted through his Twitter page.

Ferguson is yet to respond to the offer. Khabib and Ferguson saw their fights canceled for a whopping five times spanning across five years. These two were first supposed to fight in 2015 but Khabib pulled out of the fight due to a rib injury.
