Malaysian MMA star Jihin Radzuan is currently on an impressive run. The Atomweight star is currently 8-2 in her professional MMA career and is on a three-fight winning streak at the moment.

Jihin is currently coming off a win against Japanese star Itsuki Hirata and had defeated Mei Yamaguchi and Bi Nguyen prior to this. Speaking to SCMP MMA, Jihin noted that she could be ready for Angela Lee in two or three fights.

“Someday in the future, I will be there. I’m feeling ready now – not now, but another two or three matches and I’m probably going to match up with her,” she noted.

The prospect of winning the title is something that Jihin has been keeping in her mind for a long time.

“I do really think about this. Imagining me winning [the title] and putting my country on the map and being the first Malaysian champion, it’s going to be a very proud moment. It’s not only about me. It’s about my coach, my teammates, everyone around me that’s been supporting me. Everyone – even my cats. It will be a very proud moment,” Jihin said.

Interestingly, the last loss in Jihin’s ONE Championship run came against Denice Zamboanga and a rematch with Denice is something that interests Jihin.

“If we keep it real, I think for my next fight they’re going to put me with somebody in the rankings. Maybe a rematch with Denice or with somebody in the top three or four or six. We’ll see,” the Malaysian noted.

Denice, meanwhile, is coming off two back-to-back losses against Seo Hee Ham who is touted to be the next challenger for Angela Lee.
