Jarred Brooks earned himself a shot at ONE Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio last day when he submitted Bokang at ONE 156. With the win, Brooks remained undefeated in ONE Championship and at the same time, he improved his impressive streak in the promotion.

Immediately after his win, Brooks went on to call out Pacio. In the post-fight interview, Brooks added that the fight with Pacio would be similar to the one that he had with Lito Adiwang.

“I think I see it as the fight with Lito Adiwang, maybe a bit easier. Adiwang is a bit more explosive but I would say Joshua is more technically sound and he has more patience so will see how that fight goes. But personally, I feel that it would go the same way as the fight with Lito. I would choke him out in the first round or second round. I’m getting better with each fight and I can cause problems for him on feet and on the ground,” he said in the post-fight interview.

Brooks also noted that he does have a date on his table for the title fight with Joshua Pacio and added that it might happen within two months if Pacio agrees to the fight.

Brooks currently holds a professional MMA record of 19-2 to his name and is on a three-fight winning streak in ONE Championship. He has not lost in his last seven fights and both of the losses that he had in his career have been debatable as well.
