Henry Cejudo feels that Conor McGregor is someone that manipulated his way into getting World title shots.

Cejudo gave his opinion recently on the Triple C & Schmo show and noted that McGregor has changed over the years.

"Conor McGregor at that time in 2016, he did walk the talk. Everything that he was saying, it was happening. But guess what man, his persona's over. He is not that dude no more. Like people know that it's just an act, he doesn't have that juice no more. So to me captain, he's just a dude that at one point was able to manipulate himself to world titles and people bought into it,” he said last day (h/t Sportskeeda).

Triple C and Conor McGregor have been trading barbs at each other for a long time now. Recently, Cejudo had criticized the training video that McGregor posted and the comments from Cejudo it did not sit well with the Irishman as well. This led to a to and fro exchange between the two on Twitter.

The 35-year-old Cejudo last fought back in 2020 against Dominick Cruz and holds a professional MMA record of 16-2 to his name. The former Olympic medallist was on a six-fight winning streak when he announced his retirement.

Conor McGregor, on the other hand, has been out of action due to the leg injury that he picked up during his fight against Dustin Poirier last year.
