ONE Championship’s parent company, Group ONE Holdings (ONE), and Media City Qatar announced their partnership today at the Qatar Economic Forum.
This historic relationship will entail a combined effort toward developing universal content in Qatar across a multitude of media categories, such as studio shows and innovative broadcasting.
“We are very excited to announce a partnership with Group ONE Holdings which will bring a global content creator to Doha and strengthen Qatar’s media ecosystem. Media City is focusing on enabling innovative, creative media to flourish in Qatar, and this partnership will be strategic in achieving this objective. We expect that this partnership will also create a path for other global IP content creators to consider Qatar as a hub to build their presence,” said Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, CEO of Media City Qatar.

Media City Qatar and ONE are in talks to create an esports center to attract gaming developers and others, with the goal of utilizing Qatar's massive infrastructure and global support.
In addition to this, the country of Qatar will feature the second season of Netflix series “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition.”
Hosted by ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, the show was awarded “Best Non-Scripted Entertainment” and “Best Adaptation of an Existing Format” at the 2021 Asian Academy Creative Awards.
