ONE Championship revealed the full card for its 22 July event, ONE 159: De Ridder vs. Bigdash, and the star-studded event features two ONE World Title bouts.
Russian juggernaut Vitaly Bigdash will challenge two-division ONE World Champion Reinier “The Dutch Knight” de Ridder for his middleweight throne in the evening’s main event.
Bigdash earned a shot at “The Dutch Knight” after scoring three wins in a row inside the Circle, including a unanimous decision win over Myanmar star Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang in their trilogy bout.
De Ridder’s 15-0 professional record speaks for itself, and he’ll be looking to defend his middleweight strap for a second time after putting away welterweight king Kiamrian Abbasov back in March.
In the co-main event, ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet “JT” Todd will face Spain’s Lara Fernandez for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title.
“JT” is 6-1 in the Circle, with three finishes to her name, and she’ll hope to defeat newcomer Fernandez to earn her second belt and set up a showdown with atom weight Muay Thai queen Allycia Hellen Rodriguez, who will soon return to competition following the birth of her first child.
