Faizan Anwar remains unbeaten, improves to 7-0 with win over Justice Addy

Top-ranked Indian boxer Faizan Anwar remained undefeated in his professional career by securing a win over Justice Addy last day in Dubai. It was a unanimous decision victory for Faizan and with the win; he has improved his professional record to 7-0 as well.

Justice Addy, meanwhile, dropped to 16-9 in his professional career with the loss against Faizan. The event, which took place at the Hilton Al Habtoor City in Dubai was headlined by the Cruiserweight bout between Rolly Lambert Fogoum and Mada Maugo. It was Lambert that came out on top in the main event.

Currently ranked first in the Welterweight rankings for Indian Boxers as per BoxRec, Faizan came into the fight on the back of a six-fight undefeated streak. After starting his professional career back in 2019, Faizan has been a force to reckon with and has competed in Thailand and Dubai.

Prior to his outing against Justice Addy, Faizan went up against Evgenii Vazem back in April 2021 and had secured a unanimous decision victory as well.

Before this, he secured wins over JR Mendoza, Shadick Kasule, Gideon Agbosu, Jun Paderna, and Anucha Noithong. Faizan currently has four stoppage wins on his resume as he was able to finish his first four professional bouts.
