Aung La N Sang ready to welcome Stipe Miocic to ONE Championship

Aung La N Sang is coming off a huge win against Leandro Ataides at ONE: Battleground. The Burmese Python snapped his two-fight losing streak thanks to the win and is now looking to make a return in September with plenty of options on the table.

He even had an exchange with Yushi Okami last day on Twitter where both of them agreed to fight each other soon. Last day, talking to Nick Atkin and John Hyon Ko for SCMP MMA, Aung La went on to add that he is ready to welcome former UFC champion Stipe Miocic to ONE Championship.

Aung La was asked about the comment that Stipe Miocic made on Instagram last day under a post by Chatri Sityodtong.

“I’ll fight Stipe Mioic [laughs]. Wouldn’t that be cool? I can maybe revenge Daniel Cormier. That would be cool. It is good that ONE Championship is getting attention, even from state side, even from UFC Fighters. A lot of my friends are UFC Fighters and Bellator Fighters, so it is kind of cool,” he said.

Stipe Miocic had recently expressed his displeasure about UFC as he is yet to get a rematch with Francis Ngannou after losing the UFC Heavyweight title. Apart from Aung La, ONE Heavyweight champion Arjan Bhullar had also called out Miocic for a fight in ONE Championship.
