The Indian Team finished their campaign at the Fifth Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship with a total of 23 Medals. The team finished eighth in the standings with 1 Gold Medal, 8 Silver Medals, and 14 Bronze Medals when Thailand took home the top position with a total of 48 medals out of which 22 were gold medals.
Kazakhstan came in second with 10 Gold Medals and a total of 41 medals when the United Arab Emirates was third in the standings with a total of 18 medals out of which 4 were gold medals.
For India, the lone Gold Medal came thanks to Akshata Khadtare who secured the top position in the -52.2 KG Contact Ju-Jitsu category. Apart from the Gold Medal, Akshata also secured a Silver and a Bronze Medal, in turn, winning in all the categories that she competed in. Amarjeet Singh Lohan picked up two medals when Shivani Gupta won two silver medals. Anupama Swain and Rohini Kalam also secured two medals each. You can see the complete list of medal winners below.
