WMC Muay-Thai India has been crowned the inaugural WMC India State Men’s champion. The title fight happened at WMC Ranking Series 6 in Madhya Pradesh on 28 November 2021 and saw Ashu Kumar going up against Suraj Kesri.
It was Ashu Kumar that made history in the main event as he outclassed Suraj to be crowned the inaugural WMC India State Men’s Champion.
Prior to this historic win, Ashu Kumar pushed his name for the title fight through his previous performances in the WMC Ranking Series events.
WMC Muay-Thai India’s Balkrishna Shetty congratulated Ashu Kumar through his post on social media and noted that many more events are lined up by the federation. You can see the complete statement below.

Earlier, Kavya Kirodian has crowned the Inaugural WMC India State Title winner as well. Kavya won the title at WMC Ranking Series 4 when she defeated Karuna in the main event.
