WATCH: Amir Khan gets a win over Rahul Raju of India at ONE: Reign of Dynasties

Singapore fighter Amir Khan has secured a win against Indian MMA fighter Rahul Raju at ONE: Reign of Dynasties. Amir secured a first-round TKO win against Rahul at the event. 

Amir was pushing with his strikes in the first-round when Rahul was looking for the correct opportunity to land a takedown. He managed to push Amir against the fence on two occasions and made good use of the second spell. However, upon breaking the same, Amir managed to land an elbow which led to the stoppage. 

Amir Khan was looking to bounce back from his defeat against Kimihiro Eto which happened back in February 2020 and possibly improve on his slow run which saw him only win two out of his last five fights. Amir did just that with the win against Rahul.

The Kerala Krusher came into the fight on the back of a two-fight winning streak. In his last fight, he had defeated Furqan Cheema of Pakistan with a dominant RNC submission when he defeated Richard Corminal in the fight prior to that with an RNC submission as well.

Earlier in the event, Indian MMA star Roshan Mainam picked up a win when he defeated Liu Peng Shuai of China with a second-round RNC Submission.

ONE: Reign of Dynasties was the first event back in Singapore for ONE Championship post the COVID-19 lockdown and was headlined by the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship title fight between Sam-A Gaiyanghadao and Josh Tonna.
