Zeba Bano of India to fight Aleksandra Savicheva at ONE Friday Fights 5

Indian MMA fighter Zeba Bano is all set to fight Aleksandra Savicheva at ONE Friday Fights 5. The MMA fight will happen at strawweight and will happen on 17 February 2023 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand.

Zeba comes into the fight on the back of a professional MMA record of 6-1 to her name. Training with Indian fighter Pankaj Khanna at Pro Combat Fight League, Zeba made her ONE Championship debut against Wondergirl Fairtex. The Indian, however, suffered a submission loss in the debut fight.

She was then scheduled to fight Victoria Lee in January but the fight did not go through due to the unfortunate demise of Victoria Lee. Zeba will now be looking to get back to winning ways when she fights her Russian counterpart at ONE Friday Fights 5.

Savicheva, on the other hand, is 1-0 in her career and trains at Tiger Muay Thai. This will be her debut under the ONE banner and the Russian will be looking to make a statement when she steps into the ring.

ONE Friday Fights 5 will be headlined by the showdown between Kongklai AnnyMuayThai and Superball Teeded99. Both guys have competed against the finest in the sport for a long time on the prestigious Bangkok circuit, which includes the storied Lumpinee Stadium.

A 130-pound catchweight Muay Thai match between Denkriangkrai Singha Mawynn and Songchana Tor Brucelee, a training partner of former featherweight kickboxing champion Superbon Singha Mawynn, will serve as the co-main event.

Ploypanlan PK Saenchai vs. Namphongnoi Sor Sommai, Teeyai PK Saenchai vs. Jelte Blommaert, Ploymuangjan Smile Muaythai vs. Iony Lawrence, and Yodbuangarm Luckybuntherng vs. Khunsuk Sor Dechapan round out the main card.
