Yod-IQ Rejects Immediate Rambolek Rematch After Claiming Bantamweight Belt

Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri is the new ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion. The 24-year-old Thai striker went toe-to-toe with former titleholder Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon across five rounds in the main event of The Inner Circle 30 on September 11, claiming the title via unanimous decision to push his winning streak to 11 straight victories.

The night carried an unexpected twist before a single punch was thrown. At the official weigh-in, Rambolek missed weight and was stripped of the championship. When the two fighters entered the ring, only Yod-IQ was eligible to claim the title, and the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym product seized the moment with a performance built on strategy, discipline, and razor-sharp fight IQ.

The game plan from his corner was clear from the opening bell, and Yod-IQ executed it without deviation.

"The team told me I needed to win every single round so we wouldn't fall behind. That way, we wouldn't have to burn extra energy playing catch-up later, which makes things much harder. Winning the early rounds puts us in a great position and forces [Rambolek] to play our game," he said.

Round after round, Yod-IQ imposed his will on the former champion, banking every round on the judges' scorecards. When the final bell sounded, the verdict was never in doubt.

Now, with the belt around his waist, he is already thinking about the kind of reign he intends to build.

"I believe in myself. I'm going to hold onto this belt longer than anyone else. Whoever Chatri [Sityodtong] sets up for me, I'm ready. I don't think an immediate rematch is on the table just yet, so I'll likely face someone else first," he explained.

On the matter of future opponents, Yod-IQ has a clear preference rooted in what is best for Thai fans and the division alike.

"Thai fans don't really want to see Thai fighters like Rambolek and me fight each other. They love both of us and hate seeing either lose. So facing an international challenger is better — that way, all of Thailand can unite behind me," he added.
