UFC Vegas 66 India Time, Fight Card and Preview

UFC Vegas 66 happens this weekend. Another great fight headlines UFC's final event of 2022 at UFC Apex, which features No. 3 middleweight contender Jared Cannonier squaring off against No. 7 Sean Strickland. Arman Tsarukyan and Damir Ismagulov, both rising lightweight contenders, square off in another bout on the bill.

Jared Cannonier vs. Sean Strickland Preview

Cannonier (15-6, fighting out of Anchorage, Alaska) previously challenged for the middleweight title and is back in the Octagon with the intention of sending a message to the division.

Strickland (25-4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada) aims to make his first career appearance in the middleweight Top 5. He has amused spectators with victories over Jack Hermansson, Uriah Hall, and Brendan Allen. He is a volume striker who applies constant pressure. Strickland now plans to take advantage of his third UFC big event by defeating Cannonier for the first time.

Arman Tsarukyan vs. Damir Ismagulov Preview

Tsarukyan (18-3, competing out of Krasnodar, Russia) is a rising star who wants to conclude the year strong and start his run for the title. With victories against Joel Alvarez, Christos Giagos, and Davi Ramos, Tsarukyan, a Master of Sports in MMA and freestyle wrestling, has established himself as one of the best prospects on the UFC roster. He now intends to defeat Ismagulov to give him his first UFC defeat.

Ismagulov (24-1, representing Udarnyi, Russia) hopes to become the first fighter to enter the Top 10 by earning the biggest victory of his UFC career. He gained his position in the rankings with victories against Guram Kutateladze, Rafael Alves, and Thiago Moises. He is now on a remarkable 19-fight winning run. Ismagulov now seeks to get his first UFC victory and establish himself as the division's next leading contender.

On Saturday, December 17, UFC FIGHT NIGHT: CANNONIER vs. STRICKLAND will take place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The main card will begin at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, and the preliminary matches will begin at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT. The full card will be broadcast on ESPN+ in both English and Spanish.
