The octagon is set to make a triumphant return to the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on August 3, as the UFC announced its plans for an exhilarating Fight Night event. This marks UFC's first non-pay-per-view show in the United Arab Emirates since the pandemic era, reinstating Abu Dhabi as a premier destination for world-class MMA action.

During the height of the pandemic, Abu Dhabi emerged as a pivotal hub for the UFC, hosting a series of memorable events outside of Las Vegas. In a span of five months, the UFC organized eight Fight Nights and three numbered shows in the UAE, showcasing top-tier talent and thrilling matchups to global audiences.

While the promotion has yet to unveil the main event attraction for the upcoming Abu Dhabi Fight Night, fans can anticipate an evening filled with adrenaline-pumping bouts and unforgettable moments inside the octagon.

In the previous UFC outing in Abu Dhabi last October, lightweight champion Islam Makhachev headlined the event, delivering a stunning knockout victory over then-featherweight titleholder Alexander Volkanovski in just over three minutes. The co-main event witnessed Khamzat Chimaev secure a victory over short-notice replacement Kamaru Usman, captivating fans with his exceptional skill and tenacity.

Beyond the upcoming Miami pay-per-view event and regular cards in Las Vegas, the UFC has an action-packed schedule lined up, with events scheduled in Atlantic City, Rio de Janeiro, St. Louis, Newark, and Riyadh between March and June 2024.

As anticipation builds for the return of the UFC to Abu Dhabi's Etihad Arena, MMA enthusiasts around the world eagerly await the announcement of the Fight Night's main event. With a history of delivering unparalleled excitement and entertainment, the UFC's return to Abu Dhabi promises to be a spectacle not to be missed.
