THAI MAK Muay Thai Fight Night Results: Manipur's Yaimalai wins title belt and main event

The first ever THAI MAK - Muay Thai Fight is in the books. THAI MAK conducted its first event on April 20th at the Gokulam Galeria Mall in Calicut. The event featured 10 bouts out of which 4 were undercard bouts and 6 were title bouts. The event was hosted by THAI MAK in association with the Kerala State Muay Thai Association and Muay Thai Fight League. The event was live-streamed on the LockerRoom India YouTube channel.

The main event saw Israel Lalriawma of Mizoram going up against Yaimalai of Manipur. The bout went the full distance with Yaimalai picking up the win via a unanimous decision. 

In the Co-Main event, Shahbas faced Muhammed Nihal for the Lightweight Title. Shahbas took home the title via a decision victory against Nihal.

Amrith Krishna was crowned victorious in the first bout of the Main Card as he got a KO win against Akshay Kumar in the third round of the bout. Hemanth and Vipin went the distance with Vipin winning the bout via split decision. Shameeludheen registered the win via referee stoppage in the second round against Muahmmed Ashiq. Hari Krishnan won the fight against Muhammed Shahid courtesy of the second round KO.

The undercard bouts saw all the fights go the distance with 3 of 4 bouts ending in a split decision and 1 bout ending via an unanimous decision.
