Stella Hemetsberger Shatters Natalia Diachkova's Challenge

Lumpinee Stadium turned into a war zone on Friday night. Stella Hemetsberger weathered an early storm before unleashing fire of her own, finishing Natalia Diachkova in the third round to defend her ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World Title in spectacular fashion.

Diachkova came out swinging, catching the champion's attention with a sharp combination before scooping up a kick attempt and slamming Hemetsberger to the canvas to steal round one. But the champion regrouped fast, firing right hands in round two and smothering every exchange in the clinch.

Round three belonged to Hemetsberger alone. She buried a left kick into Diachkova's liver, then found the same brutal spot again moments later, folding the challenger's resistance. As Diachkova staggered toward the ropes, a three-punch combination and knee ended it, the referee waving off the war at 1:46.

Then came Nico Carrillo's kickboxing bow, and it nearly went sideways early. Zhou Jiaqiang rocked the Scot with a cracking right hand in round one, serving fair warning early on that this debut would be no coronation.

But Carrillo adjusted, finding his rhythm with a body hook that sent Zhou reeling in round two. A thunderous right hand nearly finished it outright, and follow-up shots sealed the knockout at 2:37, announcing his arrival in brutal fashion.
