Be it Chuck Liddell or Conor McGregor, the sport of mixed martial arts has never been short of superstars. While the likes of McGregor and Jon Jones are out of the octagon, the promotion is seeing the rise of Khamzat Chimaev and Shavkat Rakhmonov. Both fighters are extremely talented, and fans are having a tough time picking between the two.

However, during a recent appearance, Vicente Luque provided fans with an answer to the question. Rakhmonov, who is now a teammate of Luque, was picked by the latter to be better than Khamzat Chimaev.

In an interview, Luque was asked who would win in a fight between Chimaev and Rakhmonov. Luque said, "You know I think Shavkat is better. Shavkat is more technical and has a higher fight IQ. He's just a more technical all-around fighter. "

"Khamzat is really good, he's super talented and very strong physically. But, he's a bit too aggressive. Sometimes he just goes forward without thinking and this can wear him down. In a fight against someone like Shavkat, that type of approach can lead to mistakes. Because Shavkat is so technical, he does not rush or reveal his plans. I think Shavkat is a little bit better."
