In an impressive display of grappling skills, India's Sanjay Nambiar secured a heel hook submission finish against Australia's Jason Hu at the Battleground Grappling event.

Following his success last year at the same event in Perth, where he submitted Cylas Hardisty, Nambiar continues to establish himself as a formidable competitor in the grappling community.

After his recent victory, Nambiar took to Instagram to express his thoughts:

“Keep it easy, keep it steezy. I had a tough match against a berimbolo wizard on @battlegroundgrappling this past weekend. I managed to get an inside heel hook victory! A big thank you to Jason for taking the match, much respect!”

He also expressed gratitude towards his supporters:

“Thank you to everyone at @costaacademy who helped me prepare for this match! Truly grateful to everyone at the academy for their constant support and training. Very grateful to @becker.mma for the expert cornering, and to Rod and Ming for pushing me hard this camp. No results without them.”

Additionally, Nambiar praised the event organizers and the commentary team:

“Massive respect and admiration to everyone that works tirelessly behind the scenes at @battlegroundgrappling @george_misfit_garleybjj @_tomohalloran to make these world-class events happen. @mikaelyahaya @danielpeeney for the p4p nicest commentary team ever. Extremely grateful to everyone that works around the clock to make BG a reality! Such a sick show to experience live!”

These victories highlight Nambiar's growing prowess in grappling, solidifying his reputation on an international stage and inspiring fellow athletes in the sport.
