Ronda Rousey says that WWE fans are better than UFC fans

Former UFC Champion and current WWE superstar Ronda Rousey feels that WWE fans are better than UFC fans. She talked about the same during her YouTube stream this past week and noted that the WWE fans care more about wrestlers than UFC fans care about fighters.

She further slammed the UFC fans for not having respect for the veterans and legends of the sport.

“WWE fans care more about the wrestlers than the UFC fans care about the fighters. UFC fans have, like, much less respect for their veterans and the legends of the sport than WWE fans do,” Ronda noted (h/t WrestlingInc).

The former UFC bantamweight champion further went on to add that UFC fans are like bandwagon fans.

“A lot of UFC fans are kind of like bandwagon fans in that way. It’s like, the second you’re not on top, you’re dead to them. Whereas WWE fans are like, ‘This is the guy that, you know, did this 20 years ago,’ and they’re still really excited about that,” Ronda said.

Ronda, who moved away from MMA after her knockout loss to Amanda Nunes back in 2016, has been having a successful run in WWE lately. She has held the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title and WWE Raw Women’s Title once and has also won the Women’s Royal Rumble. She was also voted as the 2018 Rookie of the Years at the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Awards.

Prior to her move to professional wrestling, Ronda built a professional MMA record of 12-2 to her name with her losses coming against Amanda Nunes and Holly Holm. On the other side of her resume, she had wins over names like Bethe Correia, Cat Zingano, Alexis Davis, Miesha Tate among others.
