In a crucial Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 showdown at the Patliputra Indoor Stadium in Patna on Monday, Haryana Steelers significantly bolstered their playoff hopes with a resounding 41-36 triumph over Bengal Warriors. The clinical performance was highlighted by stellar contributions from Shivam Patare, who amassed an impressive 12 points, and Siddharth Desai, securing 11 raid points. Bengal Warriors' skipper, Maninder Singh, showcased his prowess with 13 raid points, emerging as the standout performer for his team.

The early minutes of the game saw both teams fiercely contesting, with neither side relinquishing the advantage. At the midway mark of the opening half, Bengal Warriors trailed narrowly at 8-9. However, Haryana Steelers seized control as sharp raiding performances from Vinay and Shivam propelled them to a 16-12 lead.

Capitalizing on the opposition's numerical disadvantage, Bengal Warriors' Maninder Singh orchestrated a crucial Super Raid, amassing 3 vital points. Vaibhav Garje followed it up with a spectacular Super Tackle, executing a fiery dash on Shivam. This turnaround allowed Bengal Warriors to head into the break with an 18-16 lead.

Despite starting the second half with only three players, Haryana Steelers mounted a spirited comeback led by Siddharth Desai's sublime raiding. The muscular raider wreaked havoc on the opposition defense, securing 4 points in as many raids and setting the stage for an All-Out. Within four minutes of the restart, Haryana Steelers surged ahead, taking a 24-22 lead.

Maintaining their lead, Haryana Steelers showcased their dominance as Siddharth achieved a Super 10 with a classy multi-point raid. This momentum continued with a two-pointer from Shivam, and a series of well-executed tackles and clever raids culminated in a second All-Out in the 33rd minute. With seven minutes remaining, Haryana Steelers held a commanding 37-29 lead.

Despite a late surge from Bengal Warriors, with Maninder Singh securing a Super 10, it proved too little too late as Haryana Steelers secured a double over Bengal Warriors.
